Deer Haven Park Delaware Ohio

Hike 15 of 52-Deer Haven Park

What a beautiful day to get outside!  The sun felt so good and we have a great time at Deer Haven.  The kids loved the visitor/nature center and the trails were great for a family hike.

Trails Hiked:

We started at the Nature Center and took the tree Swallow trail to Bent Tree Ridge.  Then went down the stair case on the creek crossing trail and following Swallow Trail back to the Nature Center.

Mileage:

About 1 mile...defiantly need to start tracking this a little better.

Weather and Trail conditions:

Beautiful sunny day today!  We have been waiting for some warmth and the sunshine and we could have stayed out all day.  The trials were a little damp, but great for hiking.  Mostly gravel trails with some slight inclines.

Lots of birds!!

Parking:

Plenty of parking at the front of the park near the Nature Center

Restrooms:

Available inside the Nature Center.

No special gear needed today.
