Ohio Women on the Fly was founded in 2019 by Jessica Tran and Katie Johnstone. The mission of the group is to bring women in Ohio's fly fishing community together and to inspire more women to get on the water.
Over the last year, OWOTF held a fly fishing weekend at Mohican, fly tying events, and meetups in Cincinnati, Columbus and Cleveland. The group has connected many women throughout the state and some fantastic fish friendships are being created.
To help support their group, Katie and Jess teamed up with us on these amazing sun shirts made from 16 recycled water bottles. A portion of the proceeds will go to Ohio Women on the Fly for future meetups, fly tying events, clinics, guest speakers and more!
