From Concept to Reality: Flip's Leader Luggage

The Challenge: Flip Pallot needed a versatile leader wallet that could hold small, medium, and large leader wheels, along with essential tools and accessories. He envisioned a bag that was both practical and multi-functional, suitable for various uses beyond just building leaders.

Scioto Made's Solution: Scioto Made embraced this challenge with creative thinking, prototyping, and field testing. The collaboration with Flip and Mad River Outfitters allowed us to ensure that every detail of the bag met his high standards and unique needs. The result is the ultimate bag for those who build their own leaders and beyond.  It’s crafted to meet the highest standards and accommodate everything an angler might need.

The Classic - Flip's Leader Wallet

The Challenge: When TFO stopped producing the TFO/Mangrove leader wallet, a beloved essential item for anglers, it left a significant gap in the market. Flip Pallot and Lefty Kreh's original design was practical and durable, and its absence was felt deeply by the fishing community.

Scioto Made's Solution: Scioto Made stepped in to continue the legacy of the Leader Wallet. Working closely with Flip Pallot and MRO’s Brian Flechsig, we updated and upgraded the design for 2022. The new Flip’s Leader Wallet now features improved materials and enhanced functionality, while retaining the ruggedness of the original. It holds multiple leader wheels, tools, and accessories, making it perfect for both freshwater and saltwater fishing.
