Hike 26 of 52-Emily Traphagen Park

We weren't too sure what Emily Traphagen Park had in store for us, but we were pleasantly surprise by this small park!  The kids loved the play ground around and we loved the trails!  From the meadow walk to the woods, this little park had something for everyone!  

Trails Hiked:

We did it all!  Whitetail loop, Pond Overlook, and Meadow Trail.  

Mileage:

With all the trails combined, it was just over 1 mile.  

Weather and Trail conditions:

We went in the evening to try and catch a nice golden hour and it was beautiful.  It was a nice warm fall evening.  The trail was dry and easy to navigate. 

Wildlife Seen:

Deer!! On the Whitetail Trail. 

Parking:

There is plenty of parking in the center of the park and gives access to both the kids play area and the trails.   

Restrooms:

A nice set of restroom right before the trail entrance with running water.    

Gear:

Nothing special, but always recommend a good pair of shoes!
